This past week, I’ve
noticed a significant amount of time on the House floor being devoted to
ridiculous subject matter... And we
have the Democratic leadership to thank. In lieu of scheduling floor time to address the high prices
Americans are facing at the gas pumps and grocery stores, they have instead
used the floor to discuss monkey bites, National Men’s Fitness Week, and post
office names. It’s probably all
for the best, though; when trying to solve America’s pressing problems in the past,
Democrats continually catered to extremists, giving us policies directly
responsible for the high gas prices of today. But rest assured, my fellow Americans, if you’re a simian,
buff male, or postal enthusiast, Democrats are at least doing something for
you; the rest of us, however, are screwed.
